Ayla Pierrot Arendt
Bloom 'n Broom
BLOOM 'n BROOM,
ASMR-Music-Video-Cooking-Show
BLOOM 'n BROOM combines video production with song creation, as well as the Processing fruits and vegetables with the absurdity of ASMR voices. A chorus of pollinators gives a beguiling polyphony to the scurrying of insects and the luring of blossoms, physical synchronization and expenditure awakens the magical powers of a broom dance in the color mist of the rainbow - as witches once did - and finally a long-awaited rainbow is drawn through public space!ASMR kitchen recordings interweave the various trips and sensory levels of the two video (performance) artists Wagner& Arendt to a carpet of perception on which it rustles, ferments and explodes properly!
Ayla Pierrot Arendt (*1987) studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and then choreography and performance at the Institute for Applied Theater Studies in Giessen.
Arendt combines video art with live performance and installation, and seeks interactive formats in which shared spaces of action and imagination are created and played with together by audience and performer. Arendt's video works have been represented at international film festivals since 2007, since 2013 Arendt's video choreographies have been embedded at various renowned theaters, and since 2017 Arendt has been performing in public space by means of various artistic personae that correspond to her concepts, e.g. OCTOPUSSY on Tour(2017-19), Layla Vesuv(2020), Justitia(2021). Arendt lives and works in Frankfurt a.M.
